Blank World Bible is a constraint-first framework for tabletop RPGs and long-form narrative campaigns.

This document defines rules of reality, not lore, character options, or adventure content. It is designed to function as setting physics: intent, agency, consequence, escalation limits, and known failure modes are established so that worlds remain stable under extended play.

The framework prioritizes:

  • consequence-driven decision making

  • resistance to unchecked power escalation

  • long-term narrative coherence

  • GM authority without arbitrary rulings

It intentionally excludes:

  • lore, maps, or factions

  • character classes, stats, or mechanics

  • power-fantasy or godhood narratives

  • system-specific rules (D&D, etc.)

This is a designer- and GM-facing tool, intended to be filled in and adapted. It provides constraints, not content.

If you are looking for a ready-to-run setting, character options, or a complete ruleset, this is not that.
